My personalized approach for your training involves creating a program that connects you to your fitness/lifestyle goals and assisting you every step of the way. I will be by your side demonstrating and explaining the benefits of each movement we do. Together, you will achieve your health and fitness dreams!
Personal Training Options
Everyone has a different goal in mind, whether it be gaining muscle (aka fat loss), training for a triathlon, or rehabbing from an injury or accident. Let's work together to help you achieve your goals. The MF Gym is conveniently centrally located in San Diego, just off the 805 & Balboa. Easy to get to, no big box gym membership fees, no waiting for equipment, clean environment, just show up and let's train! We offer strength training, yoga, functional fitness, and endurance training. The MF Gym has several personal training options available: one on one in person training, zoom sessions, and small group sessions...training options to fit every need!

One on One Personal Training
When you work with a coach, you want to be able to learn why you're doing the exercise, what it benefits, and how that pertains to you. This is exactly what you'll be getting with The MF Gym. My approach to training is hands on, motivating, encouraging, and tough yet playful. I'm invested in you and your maximum potential. Each session is programmed to lead you to your end goal, whether that be to recover from injury, or to run a marathon. You can expect good tunes, lots of high fives, and big smiles at every session!

Zoom Training
Don't have time to drive to the gym? Don't live in San Diego? Feel more comfortable working out from home but need direction? No problem! If you have a phone, tablet, or computer we can connect via zoom for your personalized one on one session. I will be live with you during the session demonstrating the workout with real time feed back to ensure you're executing your exercises properly and injury free.

My name is Alessandra Mazzamuto

My fitness story began at the age of 8 years old in Lubbock, TX. I fractured my shin during a gymnastic class, and the doctor suggested that I start swimming for rehabilitation. My love for competitive swimming then began. My swim coach taught us hard work, dedication, goal setting, and workout programming. At the age of 11, I began my weight lifting journey (under the supervision of my coach), and learned how impactful it can be for strength training, preventing injury, and overall healthy lifestyle. Fast Forward to 2008, I was training for my 2nd triathlon when I had a terrible accident that had lasting repercussions and I was in and out of hospitals for years. The whole right side of my body was affected. I had uncontrollable shaking, light sensitivity in my right eye, twitching in my face, weakness in my right leg, stuttering in my speech, and used a cane for almost 2 years. This accident led to two arthroscopic hip surgeries, and jaw surgery. It was during that time period that I took all my knowledge of training and applied it to my rehabilitation. Fitness had already been a staple of my life, but once my friends and family saw my injuries seem to melt away I started receiving requests to help others on their fitness journey. In 2018 I decided to take all of my experiences and apply them towards a life as a fitness professional. I have had the absolute pleasure of leading my clients to a healthier lifestyle since then and couldn't be happier.

Training Options

Package Training
The reason why you're seeking a personal trainer ranges from gaining fitness knowledge to achieving personal goals. Most people reach out to trainers because they need accountability. Boom! If this is you, personal training packages are the way for you to go! You can invest into a 10 50 min session package for $600, and receive the 11th session for free. Not only does this hold you accountable, but it saves you money per session, it's a win win!

Individual Sessions
Each personal training session is 50 minutes, focused on your personal goals, and mindful of any medical conditions you may have. You can perform these sessions either in person in San Diego or via Zoom/Facetime from anywhere in the world! The per session investment is $60.

Partner Training
Don't feel like going the fitness road alone? Want to bring a friend along? We offer that option too! If you have someone that has a similar fitness level and schedule as you do, this can be the option for you! Sessions will still be tailored to your goals and 50 mins, but you can sweat side by side with your bestie! The investment is $45/per person for partner (2 person) personal training in person.
